1) Green Loan In China
A blacklist of major 30 companies not in compliance with relevant environmental regulatory requirements was published by SEPA on 30 July 2007. Companies named on the mentioned blacklist are not entitled to receive loans according to the publication.
2) Interim Implementation Rule for Fine Penalty defined in the Report and Investigation Regulation for Production Accidents
Australia – Commonwealth, Victoria and NSW1) Call for information on Trisphosphates and Diethylene glycol.
On 7 August 2007 the National Industrial Chemical Notification and Assessment Scheme (NICNAS) released a mandatory call for information on the chemicals:-
a) Tris (2-chloroethyl) phosphate (TCEP), Tris (1-chloro-2-propyl) phosphate (TCPP), Tris (1,3-dichloro-2-propyl) phosphate (TDCPP), and Tris (2-chloro-1-propyl) phosphate. For all persons who have manufactured or imported trisphosphates or imported products/mixtures containing trisphosphates in the calendar years 2006 and 2007. Formulators and endusers of trisphosphates are also encouraged to provide the information.Trisphosphates.
b) diethylene glycol (DEG) in oral cosmetic products (e.g. toothpaste and mouthwash), due to potential health concerns. For all persons who have imported oral cosmetic products containing DEG during the past 12 months. Formulators of oral cosmetic products or any other persons with information on this chemical, including users, past importers or manufacturers, are also encouraged to provide the requested information.
